Our Immersive Cruise Industry Training Trip

All the staff had a wonderful time on our training weekend!

Demand for high quality cruise holidays is growing by the day. Our team at One World Travel strongly believe that the industry has a fantastic future, and for very good reason: cruising is one of the very best ways to combine relaxation and holiday entertainment with quick succession multi-destination sightseeing. That’s why we actively engage with several of the world’s leading cruise ship operators to find out about all the latest innovations and packages.

When it comes to giving recommendations, we pride ourselves on authenticity. Therefore, it’s paramount that our travel consultants get as much up to date firsthand experience as they possibly can. We decided it’s high time that our team of enthusiastic young travel consultants got a taste of what contemporary luxury cruising is all about.

Within 12 hours of shutting up shop we all headed to the airport for a short flight over to Palma, Majorca, where the spectacular MSC Seaview awaited. After a brief but highly enjoyable walking tour of the island’s capital our team boarded the vessel for yet another, perhaps even longer and more in-depth strolling inspection. Not only was it a superb opportunity for our us to come together and let our hair down, but we all also got to see the latest and greatest onboard facilities on one of MSC’s leading cruise ships. From the rooms to the bars, restaurants and casinos, everything was just as fabulous as advertised.

To the delight of all, we ended our short voyage in the unparalleled sightseeing city of Barcelona. It’s hard to imagine a better finale to an immersive training course/team building trip than a tour around Las Ramblas and the iconic Sagrada Familia!
